Titanium Wire
Titanium wire drawn for welding, fasteners, springs, weaving and filtration — supplied on spools or in straight cut lengths, in commercially pure grades and Ti-6Al-4V.
Say what the wire is for. Welding filler, fasteners, springs, weaving and filtration each imply a different specification, and we certify to that one. Ask about wire
Definition
Wire for welding, weaving and wound parts
Titanium wire is used three ways: as filler for welding, as feedstock for fasteners and springs, and as the raw material for woven mesh and filters. Each use calls for a different surface and temper, so we ask which one you are making rather than quoting wire generically.
Commercially pure grades — GR1 through GR4 — are the usual choice for corrosion service and for welding CP titanium. Ti-6Al-4V (TC4 / GR5) wire is used where the deposited or formed metal has to carry load.
Wire is supplied coiled on spools or in straight cut lengths, with the drawn diameter, temper and surface condition stated on the certificate.

What we supply, and to what
| Item | Supplied | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Grades | GR1, GR2, GR3, GR4, GR5 / TC4, TC4 ELI | Other grades to order |
| Standard | ASTM B863 — titanium wire | Welding wire to AWS A5.16 where specified |
| Forms | Coil on spool, or straight cut lengths | Diameter and temper to your specification |
| Surface | As-drawn, cleaned, pickled or bright | Depends on the end use — stated at order |
| Certification | EN 10204 3.1 standard; 3.2 on request | Heat-lot traceable |
Dimensions & tolerances. Diameters, wall thickness, widths, lengths and other dimensions are produced to your ordered specification. Nominal ranges and standard tolerances follow the governing ASTM grade specification; the exact values for your drawing are confirmed in writing with each quotation.

QualityFAQ
Common questions
Is this wire suitable as welding filler?
Specify that at order. Wire intended as filler is produced and certified to the welding consumable specification (AWS A5.16 and the grade classification you need), which is a different requirement from wire intended for mesh, springs or fasteners.
Can I buy the material without machining?
Yes. Material is routinely supplied as certified mill product with no machining. Machining is a separate scope, quoted only if you ask for it.
Who actually produces the material?
The mill product is produced by Baoji Qicheng Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., the raw-material company upstream of the same group, in Baoji. Machining and inspection, where quoted, are carried out by Baoji Tuohang Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Two legal entities, one group — and one accountable party for what you receive.
What is the lead time?
It depends on the grade, the size and whether the item is held in stock or has to be produced. We state a date on the quotation rather than quoting a nominal lead time up front.
