Titanium Product Forms
Titanium Mill Products from the Group’s Material Business
Eleven titanium product forms — plate, tube, bar, wire, coil, strip and foil, ring, mesh, forgings, titanium-clad copper, sintered filter elements and spherical powder — produced by the material side of our group in Baoji and supplied as certified mill product, or machined into finished parts under one ISO 9001 quality system.
Buy the mill product, or buy it as a finished part. Both ends sit in the same group, so a material enquiry and a machining enquiry can be answered on one drawing instead of two suppliers. Ask about a specific form
Material choice and machining method are decided in the same conversation. That matters most with titanium, where the melt route, the forging reduction and the heat treatment determine how the part behaves on the machine — and how it behaves in service.
We machine all five families on the same equipment, under the same ISO 9001 quality system. Where a drawing names a grade in GB, ASTM, EN or JIS, we confirm the applicable standard edition before quoting, not after.
Titanium Product Forms
Titanium mill products from the material side of the group
Eleven titanium product forms are produced by Baoji Qicheng Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., the raw-material company upstream of our group, and can be supplied as certified mill product or machined into finished parts by Baoji Tuohang Precision Manufacturing under one ISO 9001 quality system. Titanium is the material we work in most, and it is where the group upstream integration matters most.
Titanium plate — stacked rolled plateTitanium Plate & Sheet
The workhorse form. Plate is cut to size and machined into structural panels, vessel shells, flanges, brackets and blanks; thin sheet is formed or used as cladding. Supplied hot rolled and annealed, descaled or pickled — straight from the rolling mill or already cut.

Grades & standard
Titanium tube & pipe — seamless and welded stockTitanium Tube & Pipe
Chosen when the fluid is aggressive — seawater, wet chlorine, oxidising acids. Seamless tube for pressure and wherever a weld seam is not acceptable; welded tube for heat exchangers, where it is usually more economical.

Grades & standard
Titanium bar & rod — polished mill bundleTitanium Bar & Rod
The most common starting form for turned parts — shafts, fasteners, pins, flanges, bushes. We state the supply condition on the certificate, because in titanium the condition governs machinability as much as the grade does.

Grades & standard
Titanium wire — coiled wire spoolsTitanium Wire
Drawn wire used three ways: filler for welding, feedstock for fasteners and springs, and raw material for woven mesh and filters. Each use needs a different surface and temper, so we ask which one you are making.
Supply forms
Grades & standard
Titanium coil — rolled strip stockTitanium Coil & Foil
Slit strip and coil for stampings, formed parts and weld-mill feedstock, down to thin-gauge foil for shims, gaskets and shielding — one rolled family, ordered to your gauge and width.
Supply forms
Grades & standard
Titanium rings — stacked machined ringsTitanium Ring
Starting from a ring instead of a solid disc removes most of the material you would otherwise buy and machine away, and aligns the grain flow with the hoop direction. Supplied as a forged blank or finish machined.

Grades & standard
Titanium alloy forgings — brushed block blanksTitanium Forgings
A forging starts close to the finished shape, cuts the buy-to-fly ratio, and gives a grain structure a sawn blank cannot — which matters most on rotating and highly loaded parts. As forged, rough machined, or finish machined to drawing.
Supply forms
Grades & standard
Titanium mesh — woven and expandedTitanium Mesh
Specified by what it has to pass or stop — aperture, wire diameter and corrosion requirement rather than grade alone. Woven for fine filtration; expanded or perforated for screening, electrodes and structural duty.
Supply forms
Grades & standard
Titanium-clad copper — composite rod / plate / blockTitanium-Clad Copper
Copper carries current efficiently but corrodes in aggressive electrolytes; titanium resists the electrolyte but conducts far worse. Bond them and the current runs in the copper while the titanium skin takes the chemical attack.
Supply forms
Grades & standard
Titanium filter cartridges — sintered filter elementsTitanium Filter Elements & Filter Rods
Sintered porous titanium elements and rods made to your micron rating — corrosion resistant, temperature tolerant, and cleanable by back-flush or ultrasonic cleaning for return to service.
Supply forms
Grades & standard
Titanium powder — spherical alloy powder in a petri dishTitanium Powder
Spherical titanium and titanium-alloy powder for additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy, produced on the melting side of the group by EIGA and PREP atomisation and cut to the size window your printer needs.

Grades & standard
Certification applies to every form. EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate as standard, 3.2 with witness testing on request, and traceability to the heat lot throughout — whether you take the material as mill product or as a finished machined part. How the group structure works →

Choosing between the five families
A short orientation table. Grade-level selection should always be made against the drawing, the operating temperature and the qualification status of your programme.
| Family | Why it is chosen | Typical parts we machine | Supply forms | Detail page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium & titanium alloys | Strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, compatibility with composite structures, elevated-temperature capability in the near-alpha and alpha-beta alloys. | Blisks, impellers, blades, casings, discs, structural fittings | Bar, plate, sheet, forging stock, shaped billet | Titanium grades → |
| Aerospace aluminium | Low density and high specific stiffness for airframe structure; well-understood machinability and surface treatment routes. | Brackets, ribs, frames, housings, non-rotating structural parts | Plate, bar, extrusions, forged blanks | Aluminium grades → |
| Stainless steel | Corrosion resistance with higher strength than plain carbon steel; precipitation-hardening grades combine strength with distortion-controlled heat treatment. | Shafts, hardware, housings, bushes, fittings | Bar, plate, forgings | Stainless grades → |
| Nickel-based & high-temperature alloys | Retained strength, creep resistance and oxidation resistance in hot sections where titanium and aluminium are no longer viable. | Hot-section structural parts, discs, casings, seals | Bar, billet, forging stock | Nickel grades → |
| Copper & copper alloys | Thermal and electrical conductivity that titanium and stainless steel do not offer, for current-carrying and heat-transfer duty. | Conduction paths; current-carrying and heat-transfer parts | Bar — T2, brass, bronze | Copper bar & alloys → |

Supply Forms
How the material arrives
Six supply routes, from raw mill product through to a shaped blank that has already absorbed most of the material removal. Large-format titanium plate up to 2000 × 6000 mm is a standing capability, with 1250 mm and 1500 mm widths also produced.
Upstream integration, one accountable party. The mill product that enters our machines is produced by Baoji Qicheng Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., the raw-material company upstream of the same group. Melting, forging, rolling and precision machining are planned as one chain, not two separate contracts. That shortens lead time because stock moves between the material shop and the machine shop in the same city; it keeps heat-lot traceability intact from melt to finished part; and it aligns inspection standards from the mill certificate through to the final dimensional report. Image: Open-die / free forgingPlate & Sheet
Rolled plate and sheet for structural parts, rings, flanges and blanks that start flat, supplied in bright, pickled or sandblasted finish. Large-format plate available up to 2000 × 6000 mm (widths 1250 mm and 1500 mm also produced).
Bar & Billet
Round, flat and rectangular bar, plus billet for turned parts, shafts and rotating components. Produced through the full route — hot forged, precision forged, hot rolled, cold rolled and ground.
Forgings & Forging Stock
Open-die and closed-die forging stock where grain flow and mechanical properties in the finished part are specified. Forging route and reduction recorded in the material record.
Shaped & Near-Net Forms
Shaped billet and near-net preforms that reduce machining time and material removal on expensive alloys — usually the right answer for large titanium and superalloy parts.
Tube, Wire & Fittings
Seamless and welded tube, coil and straightened wire, plus formed fittings such as elbows — for ducting, heat exchange, filtration and process lines.
Clad, Mesh & Sintered
Titanium-clad copper and titanium-clad aluminium bar, woven titanium mesh, and sintered porous filter elements. Cut-to-length pieces supplied for prototypes and small batches.
Material-only orders. We supply mill product without machining when a customer has capacity elsewhere. Certification, packing and export documentation are identical either way. Whether a material-only order is contracted by Baoji Tuohang or by Baoji Qicheng is confirmed per order:
Material Certification
EN 10204 3.1 and 3.2 — what the difference actually is
Both are inspection documents. The difference is who validates the results, and that difference determines how much weight the document carries in your own incoming inspection and in your customer's audit.
| EN 10204 — 3.1 | EN 10204 — 3.2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Document name | Inspection certificate 3.1 | Inspection certificate 3.2 |
| Who issues it | The material manufacturer | The material manufacturer |
| Who validates it | The manufacturer's own authorised inspection representative, independent of the production department | The manufacturer's representative and the purchaser's representative, or a third-party inspector named by the purchaser or by regulation |
| What it contains | Results of the specific inspection and testing of the delivered batch — chemistry, mechanical properties and any tests the order calls for | The same specific inspection results, additionally witnessed or counter-validated by the second party |
| Traceability | Stated to the heat / melt and batch or lot delivered | Stated to the heat / melt and batch or lot, with the witnessing party identified |
| When to specify it | Standard commercial and most aerospace supply, where the manufacturer's certified results are accepted with your own incoming checks | Programmes requiring witness testing, customer or regulatory surveillance, or where the purchaser's QA must sign against the results before release |
| Effect on cost and lead time | Included as standard on certified material orders | Additional — witness attendance has to be scheduled into the production and test plan |
State the document type on the enquiry. If your drawing or purchase specification calls for 3.2, tell us at RFQ stage. Adding witness testing after a batch has already been released is usually impossible, because the inspection has to happen while the material is still at the test stage.
What we can state without qualification. ISO 9001:2015 and GB/T 19001-2016 (equivalent to ISO 9001) at Baoji Tuohang; ISO 9001 at Baoji Qicheng; EN 10204 3.1 and 3.2 material certification; UT / PT / RT non-destructive testing; FAI to AS9102. Certificate scope details are on the certifications page.
