Supply capability & factory profile
The numbers on this page cover the whole group: the material side that melts, rolls and forges titanium, and the machining side that turns it into finished parts. Both are in Baoji, both are planned as one order — and one legal entity, Baoji Tuohang, signs for the delivered part.
The numbers cover both entities. Material side and machining side measured together, because that is how an order is actually planned and released. Ask about capacity
Industrial capability
The plant, in six numbers
Figures describe the group's own operations in Baoji High-tech Development Zone, Shaanxi — China's Titanium Valley.
Two legal entities, one group. Baoji Qicheng Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. runs the upstream material operations — melting, rolling and forging. Baoji Tuohang Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. runs machining and inspection and is the contracting party. The two are planned together, so material and machine capacity are allocated to the same order rather than bid for separately — see vertical integration.
Annual production capacity
Titanium mill product output
Declared annual output by product form. These are material-side figures — the rolling and forging operations that feed both our own machine shop and customers who machine elsewhere.
| Product | Annual output | Unit | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium bar | 300–450 | Tons | Verified |
| Titanium plate | 350–550 | Tons | Verified |
| Titanium tube | 100–150 | Tons | Verified |
How to read this table. "Verified" means the figure is taken from the group's own production records for a twelve-month period, and it is the basis we plan capacity against — not a third-party audit. Machined output is not given as a tonnage: a finished impeller and a finished bracket consume very different machine hours for the same weight, so machining capacity is quoted per programme once we have the drawing, material and quantity. Mill product can also be supplied on its own — see titanium supply forms.
Contract manufacturing
Three ways we work to your specification
OEM service
Parts are made to your drawing, your specification and your part number. We do not run a competing catalogue of our own: what we machine is what you designed, and the identification on the part stays yours.
Design service
Practical manufacturing input before you freeze the drawing — material selection against the grade tables, a datum scheme that survives every setup, tolerances that do not cost more than they are worth, and near-net stock that cuts machining time. We can work from a 3D model alone and confirm the datum and tolerance scheme with you before any metal is cut.
Buyer's label service
Parts, packing and paperwork can carry your identification: part number, purchase order reference and label artwork on the packaging, with packing lists and export documents issued against your references rather than ours.
Working with our capacity
How an order is planned
- Capacity is allocated once. Material and machine time are reserved together for the same order, so a release is not waiting on stock one week and on a machine the next.
- Quote turnaround. With a complete drawing, material and quantity, the quotation follows within 24 hours — 10 minutes at the fastest on a straightforward part. No drawing yet — send the model and we will confirm the route first.
- No published minimum order quantity. Prototypes and repeat production are both quoted; tell us the quantity and we will price it as it is.
- Production lead time is quoted per part. It depends on routing, inspection scope and material lead time, so we confirm it against your job rather than publish a number that will not hold.
- Material or machined. Mill product can be supplied without machining when you have capacity elsewhere — certification, packing and export documentation are identical either way.
What we need from you to plan properly. A drawing or 3D model, the material and grade, the quantity split between prototype and production, any inspection or NDT requirements, and the destination country for export. Four of those five are usually in the first email.
Confidentiality. We sign an NDA before you send drawings if you want one — tick the NDA box on the RFQ form or ask in your email and we will send one over.
Behind the numbers
Quality, traceability and compliance
- Certifications. ISO 9001:2015 (GB/T 19001) on the machining side, ISO 9001 on the material side.
- Material traceability. Heat-number traceability held from melt through to the finished part, with EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 documentation.
- Inspection. CMM verification against the drawing's datum structure, NDT as specified, and FAI to AS9102 on request.
- Export. Classification and documentation handled per shipment — see compliance & export control.
Audit and visit. The 2,600 m² shop, the metrology room and the material side can all be visited. Tell us the dates in advance and we will arrange the room, open the metrology room and put an engineer alongside you for the work you need to do — bring your drawings, and bring your questions.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask about our capacity
Which company actually signs my order?
Baoji Tuohang Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. — the machining and inspection entity and the holder of the ISO 9001 scope. Baoji Qicheng Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. is the upstream material company within the same group. One accountable party for the delivered part, whichever operation performs the work.
Can I buy material only, without machining?
Yes. We supply mill product — plate, bar, tube, wire and clad — without machining when a customer has capacity elsewhere. Certification, packing and export documentation are identical either way. Trade terms, loading ports, packing and container loading are set out under commercial terms.
Do you publish a minimum order quantity?
No. Prototypes and production volumes are both quoted, and we would rather price the quantity you actually need than turn away a first order that leads to a programme.
How do you handle our drawings and part numbers?
As confidential. Drawings are used only to quote and manufacture your part, part numbers and artwork stay yours, and an NDA can be signed first. Export-controlled or classified material is handled under our compliance procedure.
Packing & logistics
How we pack, and how it ships
Every order leaves Baoji in export-grade wooden crates, built around the part geometry rather than a standard box. The photos below are typical packs; yours is planned from the drawing.
Sea freight
Container shipment for production volumes, with moisture-proof lining and internal fixings so the part does not shift in transit. Export documents - packing list, commercial invoice and certificate of origin - are prepared against your references.
Air freight
Available for urgent or low-volume orders, packed to standard carrier handling limits with crate weight kept inside allowance. Documents travel with the consignment so it clears on arrival.
Ask about capacity for your part
Send the drawing, material and quantity. We will come back with a process route, achievable tolerances, inspection plan and lead time within 24 hours — 10 minutes at the fastest on a straightforward part.
