Where Our Parts Run
Eight sectors, one discipline. Aerospace remains the core, but the same methods answer a different question in each environment — a rotating or load-bearing part, a specified material, and a tolerance that has to be evidenced rather than asserted.

Industry 01
Aero-Engine
Rotating and static components for the compressor, turbine and accessory sections — including the MRO spares that keep an engine in service.
What we do
We machine rotating parts where geometry and material integrity are inseparable: blisks and IBR cut from solid, impellers with splitter and full-blade forms, discs and seal rings, blades and vanes, and the casings and housings that contain them. For static parts the challenge is different — thin walls, tight positional tolerances and distortion control through the whole route.
On the MRO side, we support the spares requirement that engine shops have: replacement of a single blade, vane or seal segment against an existing part number, with the material certificate and dimensional evidence that a repair station needs to release the part.
Materials
Titanium and titanium alloys for compressor rotating parts and casings; nickel-based high-temperature alloys for hot-section components; stainless steel for hardware, shafts and accessory-section parts. Grade-level detail is on the materials page, including the GB / ASTM / EN / JIS equivalency table.

Aircraft & Airframe
Structural parts, fittings and system-installation hardware — the components that carry load between the airframe and everything bolted to it.
What we do
Airframe work is dominated by positional accuracy and by material condition after machining. We produce brackets, frames, ribs, lugs and load-path fittings where hole patterns, datums and edge margins have to hold across a batch, and where a stress-relief or heat-treatment step sits inside the process route rather than at the end of someone else's.
System-installation parts — mountings, brackets, adapters and housings for hydraulic, fuel, actuation and avionics bay equipment — make up a large share of this work. They are small, numerous and unforgiving: a fitting that does not locate is as much a problem as one that fails.
Materials
Aerospace aluminium for the majority of structural work, titanium and titanium alloys where strength-to-weight or temperature demands it, and stainless or precipitation-hardening grades for hardware and wear surfaces. Stress-relieved plate and bar is used where the drawing calls for it, and the condition is stated on the certificate.
Airframe structural parts — joints / brackets / framesTypical parts
Why choose us for airframe work
- Datum strategy and hole-pattern accuracy treated as the primary process output, not a final check
- Material condition — including stress relief — documented, not assumed
- One route from stock release to packed, identified delivery
- Short communication path: the person quoting the part is reachable while it is on the machine
- Drawing and NDA handling described in compliance

Industry 03
Industrial Turbomachinery
Impellers, blades and casings for compressors, turbines, pumps and blowers — where the geometry is aerospace-grade but the programme runs on industrial volumes and schedules.
What we do
The industrial turbo sector wants the same aerofoil capability as an engine shop, delivered against a commercial timetable. We machine shrouded and unshrouded impellers for centrifugal compressors and pumps, blade and vane sets for axial machines, and the casings, volutes and housings that set the clearances those rotors depend on.
Where a customer supplies a proven design, we work to the drawing. Where a rotor is being re-engineered or a reverse-engineering exercise is required, we can quote the machining from a scan or a sample part — subject to the customer confirming that it holds the rights to the design.
Materials
Titanium alloys for high-speed and corrosive-service impellers, stainless steel for the majority of pump and compressor parts, nickel-based alloys for elevated-temperature service, and aluminium where weight matters more than erosion resistance.
Industrial turbines — gas turbine compressor + turbine stage cutawayTypical parts
Why choose us for turbomachinery work
- Aerofoil geometry capability held in house, including 5-axis simultaneous work on shrouded impellers
- Material certificate to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, from a mill inside the same group
- Balance-critical geometry held through turning and finishing in one facility
- Prototype and repeat batches quoted on the same basis — no separate "sample shop" premium

Nuclear Power
Components and materials for nuclear plant equipment and critical facilities, where certification and traceability are requirements rather than options.
What we do
Nuclear work is judged on evidence as much as on geometry. A component destined for plant equipment or a critical facility has to arrive with a material certificate that resolves to the melt heat, a documented process route, and dimensional records a third party can audit without asking us to explain them.
We machine those parts on the same equipment as our aerospace work, and the documentation pack is built while the part is made rather than reconstructed afterwards. Most of what we offer this sector sits at the corrosion- and temperature-resistant end of our range: heat-transfer and cooling-system components, pump and valve parts, and the structural and sealing hardware around them.
Materials
Titanium and titanium alloys for cooling-water and seawater-side components, stainless steel for the majority of process and support parts, and nickel-based alloys where temperature or corrosion leaves no alternative. Grade, condition and heat treatment are stated on the certificate, and the mill source is recorded in the batch record.
Nuclear power — cooling towers / plant overviewTypical parts
Why choose us for nuclear work
- Material certificate to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, traceable to the melt heat number
- Process route, heat treatment and inspection stages recorded in the batch record
- Dimensional report issued with the parts; FAI to AS9102 available on request
- ISO 9001 quality system held by the entity that signs your contract
- Export-control screening carried out before quotation — see compliance
Scope note. We supply components for civil nuclear and general industrial applications. Work that would require an export licence we cannot hold, or that involves controlled end-use, is screened out at enquiry stage — see the compliance and export control statement.

Industry 05
Pharmaceutical & Medical
Components for pharmaceutical production equipment and medical device manufacturers, held to hygiene and clean-material standards.
What we do
The controlling requirement here is not load or speed but hygiene: a part that can be cleaned, that resists the media it contacts, and that has no feature trapping product or harbouring contamination. Radii, drainage and access are specified rather than described, and the surface condition has to be evidenced rather than asserted.
We machine components for process and packaging equipment and for medical device manufacturers working in stainless steel and titanium, at prototype and low-to-medium volume. Where the drawing calls for electropolishing, passivation or a specific surface finish, the operation is placed with a qualified supplier and identified at quotation rather than assumed.
Materials
Austenitic and precipitation-hardening stainless steel for the majority of process-equipment work; titanium and titanium alloys where corrosion resistance or weight is decisive; aerospace aluminium for non-contact fixtures and housings. Material condition, surface finish and any heat treatment are stated on the certificate.
Pharmaceutical & medical — clean operating rooms / devicesTypical parts
Why choose us for pharmaceutical & medical work
- Material condition and surface finish stated on the certificate, not assumed
- Austenitic, PH stainless and titanium grades handled inside one group
- Cleanability treated as a process requirement — radii, drainage and access machined to the drawing
- Documentation on the same basis as aerospace work: material certificate, dimensional report, FAI on request
- Prototype and single-part quantities accepted
Scope note. We machine components to your drawing and material specification. We are not a medical device manufacturer and do not hold ISO 13485; device design, sterilisation validation and regulatory submission remain with the device manufacturer.

Industry 06
Salt & Seawater Desalination
Corrosion-resistant components for desalination and salt-production equipment, where chloride resistance decides the material and the service life.
What we do
Chloride service is unforgiving. Grade and surface condition decide whether a component survives one maintenance window or several, and a substitution made to save cost at the drawing stage is usually paid for at the first shutdown. We machine pump impellers and casings, valve and pipework components, heat-transfer parts and evaporator hardware for desalination and salt-making plant.
Because titanium is produced in the same city by the same group, material and machining are one supply chain here rather than two — which is what lets a corrosion-resistant part be quoted and delivered against a single traceability record.
Materials
Titanium and titanium alloys as the default answer for chloride and seawater service; austenitic and duplex stainless grades where the duty allows them; nickel-based alloys for the hottest or most aggressive streams. Sealing faces and fits are held to the drawing, because leakage rather than fracture is the failure mode here.
Salt & desalination — in-plant piping / valves / pressure vesselsTypical parts
Why choose us for desalination work
- Titanium machined routinely — the material is produced in the same city by the same group
- Chloride-service material selection discussed at enquiry, not left to a catalogue page
- Material certificate to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 with heat-number traceability
- Titanium kept separate from carbon and stainless work to avoid cross-contamination
- Corrosion-resistant parts quoted on the same basis as our aerospace work

Industry 07
Marine & Shipbuilding
Corrosion-resistant titanium components for hull structures, propulsion systems and marine engineering — designed for seawater service and long maintenance intervals.
What we do
Marine work rewards a material that does not have to be revisited. Where the environment is seawater and the maintenance window is measured in years, the sensible answer is often a component with no coating to renew and no corrosion allowance to consume. We machine titanium components for hull structures, propulsion systems and marine engineering — structural and load-bearing parts rather than rotating ones.
Typical work is brackets, housings and frames, propulsion-system components, and the seawater-system hardware around them: valve and manifold bodies, shafts and couplings, deck fittings. Mating interfaces are machined to the datum of the part they bolt to, because in a structural assembly the fit is the requirement.
Materials
Titanium and titanium alloys for seawater-exposed structure and hardware — high specific strength, no protective coating to maintain; stainless and nickel-based alloys for the positions where galvanic or temperature conditions rule titanium out. Machining sequence and tooling are controlled to keep titanium clear of ferrous contamination.
Marine & shipbuilding — bow / hull plating in dry dockTypical parts
Why choose us for marine work
- Titanium produced and machined inside one group — a single chain from melt to finished part
- Seawater-service material selection supported at enquiry
- Mating interfaces machined to the datum of the part they bolt to
- Long-interval service treated as a design constraint rather than a claim
- Documentation pack: material certificate, dimensional report, NDT to the drawing
Scope note. We supply machined components for civil commercial marine applications. Work that would require an export licence we cannot hold, or that involves controlled military end-use, is not accepted — see the compliance and export control statement.

Industry 08
Energy & Marine Equipment
The same rotating-parts capability, applied to turbochargers and power-generation turbines — sectors where the duty cycle is long, the environment is corrosive, and titanium is often the only sensible material answer.
Turbochargers
Compressor wheels and turbine-side rotating parts, including titanium aluminide and conventional titanium alloy wheels, plus the shaft and seal components that run with them. Dimensional accuracy at the hub bore and balance-critical features are the controlling requirements.
Power-generation turbines
Steam and gas turbine blades, vanes, seal segments and discs for industrial power plant, including replacement parts for existing machines where the original drawings may no longer be complete.
Marine and corrosive service
Titanium's resistance to seawater and chloride environments makes it the material of choice for pump impellers, valve bodies, heat-exchanger components and seawater-system hardware. Machining it is routine here — the material is produced in the same city by the same group.
Energy & marine — offshore oil and gas platformScope note. We supply machined components for civil industrial and commercial marine applications. We do not accept work that would require an export licence we cannot hold, or that involves controlled military end-use — see the compliance and export control statement.
